Our objectives are designed to create a holistic mentoring experience that benefits both mentors and mentees. By focusing on relationship-building first, we create the foundation for personal development and leadership growth.

September: The Power of Connection
Building trust, identity exploration, and bonding activities to establish a strong foundation for the mentoring relationship.
December: Fuel the Flame
Exploring personal values, faith foundations, and discovering what motivates each youth to pursue their passions and goals.
March: Own Your Choices
Developing decision-making skills, understanding accountability, and practicing self-discipline in everyday scenarios.
June: Level Up & Lead
Cultivating leadership qualities, considering personal legacy, and setting ambitious yet achievable future goals.
Our quarterly approach allows for deeper learning and application between sessions. Each theme builds upon previous sessions, creating a progressive journey from self-awareness to leadership.
Mentor Expectations
Consistent Attendance
Attend all 4 quarterly sessions and 2 virtual check-ins per year to maintain continuity and build trust with mentees.
Training Commitment
Complete a one-time onboarding training session in August to learn mentoring best practices and program specifics.
Pre-Session Planning
Engage in at least 1 pre-session planning call before each quarterly meeting to coordinate and prepare.
Role Model Consistency
Be a dependable presence and positive example for youth, demonstrating the values we aim to instill.
Session Reflection
Submit a brief post-session reflection form to help us improve the program and track mentee development.

Each 4-hour session follows this structured format to create a balanced experience of learning, discussion, and application. The framework provides consistency while allowing themes and activities to change quarterly, keeping engagement high and learning fresh.

Structured reflection prompts help mentors process their experiences, track mentee progress, and prepare for upcoming sessions. Journals include space for recording breakthroughs, challenges, and action items.
Youth Progress Tracker
A visual tool that helps mentors and mentees celebrate growth in key development areas including communication, decision-making, leadership, and personal values. Perfect for setting goals and acknowledging achievements.
Session Playlist
Curated music selections that energize the environment and resonate with youth culture while reinforcing positive messages. Playlists are updated quarterly and can be accessed between sessions.
Recognition Awards
Special June ceremony acknowledges the Most Engaged Mentor & Mentee, celebrating consistency and growth throughout the program year with personalized certificates and small meaningful tokens.
These supplementary resources enhance the core curriculum by providing additional touchpoints between sessions. They create continuity in the mentoring relationship and offer tangible ways to measure and celebrate progress throughout the program year.
